Well, wouldn’t you know it. On the 25th anniversary of College Football Week, we may or may not have a college football season – at best, an abbreviated season. But as long as the season hangs in there, College Football Week will hang in there too. Like the Crests sang back in 1960, we’ll take it “Step By Step.” If college football keeps playing, we’ll keep writing.
You know the story. I don’t need to go into the details. What began as a newsletter emailed to 12 people in 1995 is now a blog/newsletter that is read by more than 9,000 people.
That’s right, College Football Week returns next Monday (August 24) for its 26th season. Come aboard for each of the postings that will continue weekly as long as the season continues. If you love college football, you’ll enjoy the thorough, in-depth, often fun-filled and sometimes irreverent look at the college football scene as depicted by Touchdown Tom, along with his accomplices Swamp Mama, Rockledge Gator and Bootsie.
